ICPSTA 2016
Plasma Science, Technology & ApplicationEvent Snapshot
20th - 21st January 2016
Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh
Conference
Venue/Offline Mode
Amity University Lucknow
About Event
Plasma science & technology can play an important role in providing technological solutions for environmental, societal and industrial issues. One major application is nuclear fusion, as the ultimate source of energy. Some of the other fascinating applications are plasma medicine, lasers, dielectric barrier discharges, charged particle acceleration, micro and Nano-electronics, etc. As the application areas are growing, the need for better understanding of plasma science, related diagnostic methods and associated technologies is also increasing. The conference will address many such issues and also those related to environmental pollution and industry.
Lucknow, as a city, is in a unique position to hold this conference as almost all the educational & research institutions, having competence to
carry out research in many application areas of plasma science, are located in close vicinity.
